Business Opportunity
Recorders Court process thousands of traffic citations every month, and a large percentage of these
involve out-of-state drivers. These drivers are reluctant to travel back to Savannah to pay these fines,
and some are reluctant even to mail in their fines. As a result, Savannah and Chatham County lose traffic
fine revenues.
Solution Description
PST built a complete, interactive, data-driven website which allows
drivers to view citations, fines and court costs, and then pay with credit cards.
The website automatically posts payments, when approved by an online credit card gateway,
to the Recorders Court database, which already has a secure "back-end" (also built with assistance from PST)
allowing Recorders Court staff to confirm payments and run various reports.
